My article, A Smaller Version of Me, has been published in this month's issue of Adoptive Families Magazine. Here's a link to their website if you want to read their version. Or if you want to read mine, here you go.
Stories about my life as the husband and father of a multiracial family, a coffee shop manager, guitar instructor, and other random junk. I post new stories every few weeks. Keep reading as I explore the question, Why you never want to piss off a writer - even if he is just an amateur.

Enjoyed your article, and I can relate. There are many things in me that I prefer not to pass on. And I like to think that I can foster our more positive qualities without passing them on genetically. My daughter is nothing like me, and yet she is my perfect compliment. That makes me feel like there is some rhyme and reason to life.
